You survived the ticketing β now the fun part. Concert trips to Korea are very doable on a budget if you book in the right order: hotel first (prices spike near concert dates), then flights, then everything else.
- Book your hotel the same day you get tickets
Hotels near KSPO Dome / Jamsil (Songpa-gu) and Gocheok fill up fast once a concert is announced. Book refundable rates immediately β you can always cancel. Check the venue page here for the nearest area to stay.
- Book flights 2β3 months out
Incheon (ICN) is the main gateway. For Inspire Arena shows the venue is actually next to the airport β staying near ICN can beat staying in Seoul.
- Get an eSIM before you fly
Korean SIM counters at the airport have queues; an eSIM activated on landing is cheaper and instant. Data-only is fine β verification texts are the only thing it won't handle.
- Plan venue transport for concert day
Subway is almost always the answer (venue pages here list the nearest station). Trains run until ~midnight; after a stadium show expect 30β60 min of crowd egress β don't book anything tight afterwards.
- Budget realistically
Rough per-day budget outside the ticket: budget hotel 60,000β100,000 KRW, food 30,000β50,000 KRW, transport ~10,000 KRW with a T-money card. Merch and photocard shopping is where budgets die β plan for it.

Songpa-gu (Jamsil) is the closest hotel cluster β 1β2 subway stops away with lots of mid-range options. Gangnam is 20β30 minutes and has more choice.
How early should I arrive in Korea before the show?
At least one full day earlier. Flight delays plus jet lag before a standing show is a bad combination, and ticket pickup usually happens on show day at the box office.
